Subject: sync24 specifications

Hi list,
Can anyone tell me where I can obtain the specifications for the sync 24
interface? In particular, I need to know what sort of length each clock
pulse should be. I accept that the machine receiving the clock pulses will
respond to the rising edge of each pulse - but I am wondering if there's a
specified minimum / maximum pulse width to which all machines should
respond. I am building a MIDI to sync-24 interface (as a part of a larger
system).

Most of my gear operates reliably up to 300 BPM.
At 24 PPQ, thats 8.33ms per cycle or 4.17ms On-time per pulse at a 50% Duty
cycle.

I think I remember reading somewhere that even 2ms On-time is fairly stable
with most gear.

Hi,
Well, I've been experimenting with different pulse lenghts when I was making
my MIDI-to-sync device and looks like 2 ms is minimum pulse lenght (at least
for sync'ing TR-606).
